Right of withdrawal

Printed books

There is no right of withdrawal for contracts for the supply of goods that are not prefabricated and are made to the consumer's individual choice or specification, or that are clearly personalised to the consumer's needs. Every printed Heldio book is made just for you with your child's name, pictures and text. There is therefore no right of withdrawal for printed books. This also applies to the PDF you receive with a printed book: it is an add-on to the personalised book and has no right of withdrawal of its own. You check and approve the finished book before it is printed. If a book arrives with a printing or production fault, our quality guarantee applies (terms, section 7); your statutory warranty rights remain unaffected.

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day the contract is concluded.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Miraix Creators by M. Rötzer, Birkenstrasse 9, 4123 Allschwil, Switzerland, hello@heldio.ch) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. an email). You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

Expiry of the right of withdrawal

Your right of withdrawal expires once you download the file after expressly agreeing at checkout that we begin performance of the contract before the withdrawal period ends and acknowledging that your consent means you lose your right of withdrawal once performance begins.
