No. Your photo is used solely as a visual reference for your book's illustrations. We don't train a lasting model of your child, and there is no cross-user face database.

Your uploaded photo is used as the reference for every single illustration, so the face stays consistent across the whole book — without us keeping a dedicated digital likeness of your child. The photo is auto-deleted after 30 days.

Yes. You read the complete story free and see your child fully illustrated on the cover and first pages — so you know exactly what your book looks like. We conjure up the remaining illustrations right after purchase, within minutes. No paywall up front; you only need a free account once you want to save or order your book.

A single good photo is enough — well lit, face clearly visible. You can optionally add one or two more, but you don't have to. Selfie or family snap, both work.

Yes. One regeneration per page is free; further regenerations cost €0.50 (CHF 0.50) each.

Yes. In the preview you can tweak every page's text before approving.

No. Siblings, grandparents, friends and the pet are always included — up to four extra characters, at no surcharge. Only your child (the hero) is drawn from the photo; the others we illustrate from your description.

Via an EU-certified partner with printers across several EU countries. Your book is routed to the closest printer for faster delivery.

Yes, to all DACH countries. Swiss orders are customs-declared with no extra fees.

Digital: once the file is downloaded, the right of withdrawal expires (you've explicitly consented to early performance). Printed books: 14-day right of withdrawal. If print quality is off, we reprint at our cost.
